Below on the right is the approach to Bluff Airport in Utah. You can see the runway on the bottom left if the image.

Below on the Left is Randy at Bluff Airport.
The Middle Picture below is the entrance to the San Juan River Canyon. The Canyon weaves around for a good 30 miles before becoming part of Lake Powell. We saw a few boats floating down there, and now I'm thinking about doing that sometime.

I was a little bummed out about the photo below on the right. A few of us jumped into the back of Truck and did a ground tour of Monument Valley. That was a lot of fun, especially since we kept getting handed non-alcoholic beers through the back window. On second thoughts I think the "non" was non-existant ;-)

It was great to see the PPG's getting away from the airport and exploring the area. Check out this Great PPG Video made by Byron who was there at the same time.

The Photos Below were taken just after we left the town of Mexican Hat on the San Juan river heading West towards Lake Powell. This is an area of canyons called the "Goose Necks".

Below we cross over some really big, rough and beautiful terrain to get to Cal Black aiport in Utah.

I love the middle shot below, the shadow from my wing is perfectly aligned with Randy's wing! Got lucky on that one!

I love the mixure of people from all over the world that come to Gouldings Lodge. I've been to Japan a few times so I get to practice my Japanese. This lady had a really neat hat and I love my hats !!!

Damien states: Hello Bill from Emu Plains! Did you search Emu Plains and come across this website? Glad you enjoy the videos! Hopefully sometime I will get some coastal flying in. I have nothing on the immediate calendar, but eventually I will drag it out to the coast! Cheers, Damien December 16, 2010, 3:25 pm
