Firstly, big thanks to Dave Dixon, John Cortesy and Doug Ferguson for making this trip the most memorable to date.
Every time you think 'it can't get better than this' - somehow it always does! And this trip out does all the previous trips (and I know there are more to come)!!
Also, to all the wonderful people I met - thank you too !!!

The Music on this Video
I had the honor of corresponding with these great artists, and I urge you to check them out.
Josh Woodward Features 2 songs on Part 1 of Salton Sea. You can download these songs from his website for free!!
Album "Dirty Wings" - Song "Insomnia" (Instrumental Version)
Album "Here Today" - Song "Learn To Fly"
The other artist in this video was UltraSuede. Max Furey - the co founder of this band is a person I met a few years ago and a truly wonderful musician.
I used the title track from their album The Other Ellie.
P.S. If you find yourself on this video and don't wish to be on here, email me and I'll edit the scene out.

Dave Dixons Mum - Dave is pretty attached to that cute little dog. We had a nice warm RV but Dave chose his tent and Spunky. Once in a while I would wonder .... March 19, 2008, 10:28 pm

Lucy states: Damien this is worderfull. I really enjoy watching your videos keep it up!!!!! March 18, 2008, 9:32 pm
John in Alaska states: Been watching your videos for months and
they always make my day, the music especially on the last couple has been really outstanding. I'm sure that Spencer would agree that a Sales or Donation link would be a super idea...and a way for the rest of us to give something back. Thanks again. March 18, 2008, 7:50 pm
Damien states: JetPilot - glad you enjoyed the video. For this video, I figured it would get a lot more exposure due to all the PPG's and Trikes in there and thought it best to use music I have spoken with the artists. Maybe if I ever got around to it, I would like to enter it into a film competition as well. Music is always a tuff one as every one has different likes. I always try and make sure it fits the scenes. If you know any artists personally, and they would be happy to let me use their music, please feel free to pass on details to me, that would be great. March 18, 2008, 3:55 pm
flyboy4fun states: looks like fun fun fun. March 17, 2008, 8:06 pm
Dave Dixon states: The music sucked??? I like it and thought it blended well with the footage. The quality of Damiens videos just gets better and better. It has nothing to do with me either.I just mount the camera gear and push the button.Damien is the editing and sound master.Mom,we'll go up again as soon as it warms up. DDDave March 17, 2008, 4:48 pm
Dave D's Mum states: Loved the video. Dave had a ball and I'm so glad he took his body guard (Spunky) with him. Some of those characters at Slab City looked a little bit "different". I've seen Salton Sea from the ground but it's quite different from the air. I loved my first and only trip with Dave over and around Holbrook, Az. What an experience!!!!!!!! looking forward to the second part of the video. March 17, 2008, 1:48 pm
JetPilot states: Really awesome video Damien as always... Looks like you guys had a blast, makes me want to go out and fly One thing I dont like is the music in your last couple vidoes, you always had the best sound tracks until now, but the music in the last two sucked. I guess you are worried about lawsuits from the RIAA, its a shame its come to the point where you cant put music to your home videos
JetPilot March 17, 2008, 12:42 pm
Dave Dixon states: We had the time of our lives did'nt we Damien and John. This video is the best yet! Slab city was so cool.People came out of the woodwork to look at our flying machines and to watch us take off.I want to urge everyone to make it to next years Fly in. I love to fly with Damien and John.Very safe and professional but fun too,and Doug fit right in. Great communication between us all.Frank,I'm planning to come over when Damiens Mum is there for a visit so maybe we'll all get a chance to fly together.I've met so many great people flying trikes and look foreward to getting out more.I'm a people watcher and I love "the human zoo".The people at slab City had to be the monkey cage at the zoo. Cheers everyone....... oops,Damien must be rubbing off on me. March 17, 2008, 11:38 am
Frank states: Good video Damien. Dave is a champ. We need to get him up here to get more women at our flying sites. They seem to attract to him like flies. That guy on the bike sure was weird. Looked like a great time though. March 17, 2008, 10:22 am
