John and I head off to fly Marble Canyon, Monument Valley and the San Juan River Canyon.
Along the way we met up with Doug and Colleen from California.

Jeff Gilkey and Rick Cooper were supposed to join on this trip but due to time and weather it didn't prevail. They did fly out to Monument Valley a few weeks later and Jeff put together these great flight logs worth checking out (note the photo of the Hawk above Ricks wing):
Part 1 - The trip out
Part 2 - Monument Valley
Part 3 - The return

I have to admit that I've put one and one half pairs of great gloves through my prop in 4 years of flying. With my luck, the next one will leave me with two gloves for the same hand. Never say never.
