Join me as we fly over the enchanting desert Canyons and Cliffs. After the flight, you can see me new motorized bicycle that I get to work on in the warmer months.

Damien states: Windglider - glad you enjoy the videos. Yes, finally did get my Sport Pilot ticket. Sounds like you are pretty close, when you get your Astra you should come on down here, we have a guy with a HKS Astra here as well, probably seen him in a few videos on this site. windglider states: I started flying in tail draggers in 1961(I'm old). Bein a pilot was in my blood from infancy. Ultra/microlights are wonderful aircraft. Of the fixed wing I like the Excalibur. Of the trike family I like most of them, although I'm looking at a 912 mounted Astra trike. I live over a mile high here in Colorado and my wife won't let me have a single seater because she loves this kind of flying herself. She's been riding on the back of my motorcycle for 38 years now It's videos like yours that keep my juices flowing and my eyes perpetually toward the sky. Safe flying.... windglider April 3, 2008, 5:40 pm
WINDGLIDER states: Enjoy all your videos. Just looked at the Canyons-11/18/06 where you said you were studying for your sport pilot cert. By now you have it, I assume. I'm a private pilot, isn't it nice to have that ticket, and you can take passengers with an "N" number? Great videos, take care and safe flying.

Robin Hood - I can mount the engine on a fold up bike, and could probably mount it in the back seat somehow. December 1, 2006, 10:37 am

Robin Hood states: Great flying movie again. No chance of taking the bike along if you have to do an emergency landing in the desert?? December 1, 2006, 7:08 am
Geoff from England states: BRILLIANT AS USUAL.PLEASE KEEP POSTING. November 29, 2006, 1:20 pm
Damien states: BJ Moore - thanks! I hope to get to MV sometime after Xmas. Send me an email and we can keep in touch about it.
goflysly2 - I am hoping with my SP ticket, I can eat breakfast after my flight at the GA table, instead of sitting in the corner alone looking at the planes land through the window!
TexasTriker512 - I have seen the motor mounted on a fold up bike. I already have the plan - big 912 trike, motorized bike in the back, and I can go for a week completely self sufficient! November 28, 2006, 9:25 pm

TexasTriker512 states: Great as usual. I can't seem to play the vids with Firefox, had to use IE..
Ya know, you could put a motorized Dahon in the back seat and there's almost NO PLACE ya could'nt go! MH - Austin. November 28, 2006, 7:52 pm

M230683 states: Thanks again for sharing.
Good luck with your SP. November 28, 2006, 11:09 am

goflyslow2 states: EXCELLENT !
Top notch video and editing.
Now go get the S.P ticket....or glider ticket to fly that thing legal!
But, it never really mattered before...guess it still doesn't.
And that's GREAT! November 28, 2006, 2:49 am

BJ Moore states: As always, enjoyed the video. Someday we need to rendezvous at Monument Valley. How about the next Kolb fly-in in May 2007? There weren't any trikes there last year. So you need to be the guy. Bring your squeeze and that famous movie star Spencer with you.

Aside from that, those are nice experimental gear legs on your trike. Also, love that n-numbered gas tank.

What is the rest of that stuff mounted to your gas tank and gear legs??? November 27, 2006, 2:05 pm

Damien states: Paul, I got my trike N-Numbered and my Sport Pilot Student License all on the same day! November 27, 2006, 2:38 am
Scotty J states: Nice. Great views. And love the bike... November 20, 2006, 8:17 pm
Paul Grindall states: Nice job as usual. Congratulations on N116DB. Now that it's a light sport experimental aircraft, how do you fly it without your sport pilot rating? Can you still fly it as a two-place trainer with a BFI oversight? I fixed me first and am not working in the machine. I can't leagally fly my Airborne Redback except under the training exemption until it's N-numbered (so I have the training endorsement every 90 days). Were there any surprises for you in the experimental transition? Paul ([">mail]) November 20, 2006, 12:36 pm
Mare states: I love the new toy! The video was captivating. Thank you again for sharing. What can I say about the baby except he's darling. November 19, 2006, 7:30 pm
